New technology leader to accelerate digital transformation, advance innovation and strengthen technology’s role in driving customer value and business growth
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA, IN, UNITED STATES, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Legacy Supply Chain (Legacy), a third-party logistics (3PL) provider of customized supply chain solutions, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Lewis as Vice President of Technology. Lewis will lead Legacy’s enterprise supply chain technology strategy, advancing digital transformation, accelerating innovation and strengthening technology’s role in driving operational performance, customer value and business growth.
Based at Legacy’s Indianapolis corporate headquarters, Lewis joins the Executive Leadership Team, working closely with leaders across operations, solution design, business development and corporate functions to align technology capabilities and investments with business strategy and customer needs.
“Technology is the great equalizer in supply chain, it connects people, processes and systems, and ultimately enables growth,” said Kyle Krug, VP of Corporate Strategy at Legacy Supply Chain. “Creating transformative impact for Legacy’s customers and stakeholders requires innovating the ways we use technology – Jonathan brings the leadership and vision to help us transform opportunities into measurable results.
ADVANCING SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNOLOGY AS A STRATEGIC GROWTH ENABLER
Lewis brings experience supporting large-scale field operations and building and leading high performing, customer focused, enterprise technology organizations. His background in complex operating environments positions him to strengthen Legacy’s technology capabilities while building closer connections between technology teams and the business functions they support.
In his new role, Lewis will oversee Legacy’s digital transformation strategy, including expansion of the company’s enterprise technology roadmap, business-critical applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data strategy and emerging technologies. Key priorities include developing a more unified, collaborative technology operating model and advancing practical applications of data and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve efficiency, decision-making and customer value.
“The greatest value of technology comes from how effectively it solves real business challenges,” said Lewis. “My focus will be on building strong partnerships across Legacy, understanding where we can make the greatest impact, and using data and AI to develop practical, scalable solutions that help our teams work smarter and our customers succeed. We have a tremendous opportunity to turn technology, data and innovation into a competitive advantage.”
By integrating technology expertise further across the value chain including phases of solution design, customer onboarding and operational execution, Legacy aims to accelerate implementations, improve scalability and strengthen supply chain performance for customers.
Jonathan’s hire reinforces Legacy’s commitment to helping customers connect, scale and transform their supply chains through innovative, technology-enabled solutions that support their evolving business needs.
