Today, AEG Presents, a global leader in live entertainment, announced the name of its second live music venue in Austin – Moonline. Located in the East Riverside neighborhood at 2015 East Riverside Drive, the reimagined 1,500-capacity venue, formerly Emo’s, will open in early 2027 following a series of upgrades and renovations.

AEG PRESENTS INTRODUCES MOONLINE, RE-BRANDED EAST RIVERSIDE VENUE, FORMERLY EMO’S, TO OPEN IN EARLY 2027
Moonline marks the newest addition to AEG Presents’ growing footprint in Austin, alongside United Heritage Hall, the 4,000-capacity venue currently under construction one mile down the road at River Park. Together, the two venues will accommodate a diverse range of artists and events, from intimate shows and emerging artists, to larger concerts, touring productions, and special events in the Live Music Capital of the World.

Planned renovations include upgrades to the sound system, green rooms, backstage areas and guest-facing amenities, all designed to enhance the experience for both fans and artists.
