PageDNA Introduces Fiery Integration: End-to-End Control from Storefront to Print Production
PR Newswire
DALLAS, Sept. 15, 2026
New PageDNA capability connects web-to-print ordering and production workflow with Fiery® Driven™ digital print environments, helping teams move approved jobs into Fiery Command WorkStation® with fewer manual handoffs.
DALLAS, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — PageDNA, a cloud-hosted eCommerce and web-to-print platform for print and fulfillment, today announced PageDNA Fiery Integration, a new capability designed to connect PageDNA’s storefront and order-management workflow with Fiery Driven digital print production environments.
PageDNA Fiery Integration is a PageDNA product capability designed to work with Fiery Command WorkStation, the digital print industry’s most ubiquitous job management platform and the central user interface through which print businesses can manage all their Fiery Driven devices.
For print teams that use Fiery Command WorkStation to manage digital production, the integration shortens the path from an approved online order to a production-ready job. PageDNA can carry approved order data, production files, and job information forward into the Fiery production environment, helping reduce duplicate work, limit avoidable re-keying, and improve alignment between the storefront and the pressroom.
Connecting order intake to Fiery production
Web-to-print is most useful when it does more than collect orders. In many shops, approved artwork and job details still move into production through manual downloads, email handoffs, hot folders, or operator re-entry. That gap creates risk: a job can be ordered correctly and still be set up incorrectly.
The new integration is built to close that gap without changing the way print teams already work in Fiery. PageDNA connects what the customer ordered to the way the print provider has already configured Fiery to produce it. Once a job is reviewed and ready, PageDNA sends the production-ready file and relevant job information into the appropriate Fiery-connected production environment.
- Submit approved PageDNA jobs into a specific Fiery queue: Hold, Print, or Direct
- Apply print presets and imposition templates as configured
- Keep existing MIS and production-review practices in place
- Give operators cleaner job context at the point of execution in Fiery Command WorkStation
A typical flow is straightforward. A customer configures and approves an item in a PageDNA storefront. PageDNA captures the order details, approved file, specifications, and production requirements. When the job is ready, PageDNA hands the file and relevant job information into the Fiery-connected environment. Operators continue to manage print execution in Fiery Command WorkStation. Completion and shipment remain part of the broader PageDNA order workflow.
PageDNA manages the customer-facing storefront, order data, approved files, and production workflow. Fiery Command WorkStation manages the digital print production environment. For items that can be produced on more than one device, a single Fiery DFE is assigned per item at a time so routing stays predictable.
Built for working pressrooms
The integration is intended for real production conditions, not a laboratory workflow: file readiness, quantity, routing, device selection, due dates, job instructions, and operator visibility. It does not remove needed production oversight. Each operation can decide how much review and operator control to keep. The aim is less swivel-chair work between an approved order and the Fiery queue, not the removal of print expertise.
PageDNA Fiery Integration is designed to work alongside PageDNA Order Manager, giving teams a connected path from customer order to approved file, production details, Fiery handoff, Fiery Command WorkStation execution, completion, and shipment.
“PageDNA has always focused on helping print organizations remove friction from the ordering process,” said Steve Enstad, CEO of PageDNA. “Web-to-print shouldn’t stop at collecting the order. The real opportunity is carrying that order deeper into production without adding more manual steps along the way. With Fiery Integration, we’re helping customers shorten that path, reduce opportunities for error, and create a stronger foundation for end-to-end automation.”
“Fiery is at its core designed to be an open, inclusive platform,” said John Henze, vice president, sales and marketing, Fiery. “We want to make it as easy as possible for print providers to enjoy a fully integrated end-to-end print environment and smooth out workflow bottlenecks wherever possible. This integration with PageDNA shortens the distance between where a job is ordered and where it gets printed, which is exactly where print businesses still see a lot of avoidable costs. We’re proud to work together with PageDNA to deliver greater levels of streamlined workflow efficiency for print providers.”
Availability
PageDNA Fiery Integration requires Fiery API access and a supported Fiery configuration. PageDNA will work with each customer to review compatibility, configuration, and implementation needs.
